First Day of Internship. Nervous.

First days are never easy for me. I always get so nervous. The night before my first day at Hugemice Events Management Sdn Bhd, however, was not like other first days I’ve had. This time, I wasn’t nervous, I was perfectly content in Hugemice, and I was really excited about my first day on the job with my course mate.

My first day at Hugemice was simply learning the ropes. First, my supervisor (Mr. Ray Cheng) went over the rules and regulations, and then I met my colleagues. They were all very friendly and the environment was not politic. Tasks were given from my colleagues and boss. I was quite busy for my first day and started to feel that my internship will be enriched for the following months.

I did a group chat with my course mates who are working at different companies; their works are easy and boring. From my perspective, I do not think that it’s good to feel relax during internship period as it is a good opportunity to experience the real working life.
