The Launch of Hong Leong Express Remit

The Launch of Hong Leong Express Remit was on 3rd December 2014. This is my first event in Hugemice Events Management Sdn Bhd. It was nervous but yet exciting. The first thing we have to do before event is to set up the ballroom.

Our crew on the left was painting up the board and my colleagues were having a discussion with the client.

This is the ballroom for the event later with some of the committees from Hong Leong Group.

Our console table on the purpose of controlling the screen on stage.

He is our crew that take charge on the sound system of the event.

(He’s shocked when he saw me taking photos. Haha)

The event was going to start soon and I was being assigned to be at the registration site. My tasks are to greet and collect name cards from the guests. After registration, the guests will be ushered to the photo booth stage.

This is the photo booth area for guests to take photos at. Then, they could get the photo instantly.

Guests can enjoy their lunch that prepared by the hotel too.

After the lunch and photo booth sessions, all the guests and media were invited into the ballroom as the lauching of Hong Leong Express Remit was going to start soon.

Everyone was being sitted and lauching started.

They were giving a speech regarding the launching.

(Every attendees were happy as the talk was interesting!)

At the end of this launching event, I truly feel that organize an event isn’t an easy task. Everyone has their own roles and responsibilities. It might causes others to crash their work if you did not carry your work properly, as everything is related. During the event, I communicate with my colleague by using walkie. As this is my first time using walkie, I’d caused the event flow to delay because I am not familiar with it. Besides, running an event can help to train and improve alertness too. It is good for our future working life.
