Conclusion for the past 3 months

Upon completing my internship, I would recommend it to other students or my friends because many opportunities were given to the interns for experience. I have gained a lot of valuable knowledge and experiences through kind guidance from colleagues and managers. They gave me confidences to lead the team like what they did.

Throughout these 3 months of internship, critical learning that I have gained is decision making and problem solving skills. Involving about 7 sessions of events from small scale to big scale, I have encounter different kind of critical situations. Some might be solved easily, but some are challenging such as miscommunicate with clients, cable or system malfunction, forgot to bring necessary props and etc. These entire problems encounter allowed me to react accordingly and find out the most effective solutions.

I have applied the theories concepts studied in class by giving opinion and conducting marketing such as social carry out research. Besides, planning and event managing skills were also being applied throughout my internships. Every event I have involved required planning of crew allocation, furniture allocation, light & sound systems and etc. This is to ensure the flow of the event is going smoothly.

This internship experience would definitely make me ready to start a career in events industry as I found my passion in it. Involving through many genres of events have made myself clear about my interest in this industry.

If I have the opportunity, I will join this company as permanent staff provided it offers me a good pay because I have been introduce and familiar with company operations and culture. Besides, this company is lack of staffs; I believe they will provide more opportunity for me to enhance my leaning experience. Furthermore, it provides me my desire working environment in the sense of having friendly colleague and the culture of “work hard, play hard”.

I will mark my overall experience during this internship 16 out of 20 because I have put my best effort to contribute in this company. I have also gained a lot of knowledge and great experience throughout this internship.
