Continue with the second event – ConocoPhillips Annual Dinner. ConocoPhillips Company is the world’s largest independent exploration and production company, based on proved reserves and production of liquids and natural gas. They explore for, develop, and produce crude oil and natural gas globally.

For every event, there are pre-event stage and proper event stage. It means that each and every event will need to be fully prepared before the actual event day, such as the decorations, music to use, hotel booking and etc. It goes the same to ConocoPhillips Annual Dinner.

Pre-Event Stage

After confirming the project with the client, back end preparations will need to be start as soon as possible. I was being assigned with a minor task, which is creating the centrepiece (an object used as the centre of table, especially for decoration).

This is the vectors that handmade by me. It will need to be used as a centrepiece during the event.

I was adjusting the centrepiece by putting the vectors on it.

(I know I’m looking so serious. Haha)

My crew was hanging up the balloons and disco balls on the ceiling. This could enhance the event to become more happening.

Proper Event Stage

Here comes to the actual event day! My colleagues and I were so exciting as the theme for this event was “Tribute to Music Legend”. All the invited guests were being forced to dress like old times rock stars. I was looking forward to experience this unique themed annual dinner.

Before getting into the unique dresses of the guests, let’s look at the decorations of the event!

This was the main entrance to the event place. It was being decorated with the electric guitar props!

“ROCK THIS WAY!”

Here’s the place for the guests to have their dinner. It looked so mysterious!

The stage for emcee to do his social. IT WAS JUST SO ROCK!

I was mainly helping out at the photo booth and registration sessions. These are the props the guests can use to take photos at the stage, such as ukulele, exaggerate spectacles, giant mic and etc.

The guests were started coming in and filling up the place.

They were interested at the instant print photos because it’s a high-tech device. It’s fast and you can get your photo on the spot!

Let’s see how rock they dressed! We organized a best dresses award for the event and they are the couple who won that night.

After the best dress award, the Rock Music Band will be beside the dance floor. And now, the dance floor is open for all the guests to enjoy.

This is our wonderful Rock Music Band. They made the event to become more happening.

The event was going smoothly till the end. From my opinion, the environment is really happening throughout the night.

This is my first time staying up late for work. I’m feeling tired but excited because I feel enjoy in this event (Complicated feelings!). I can’t actually feel my legs because I’ve been standing for the whole day. Earning money was not easy as I taught. However, it’s worth staying up late because my experiences increased!
